Nicolas Blondeau
With 22 years of experience in the impact investment sector, Nicolas specialized in both debt and equity, directly and through funds, across Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. Before founding Tripact, Nicolas worked with Inpulse, where he launched Helenos, an impact equity investment fund focusing on supporting small financial institutions across Europe. Prior to that, he headed the investment team at ADA, advising LMDF and gained expertise with BIO – the Belgian DFI, coordinating the inclusive finance portfolio.
He started his investment activities with Incofin, where he was in charge of Central America and East Africa. Before, he lived in Guatemala and Brazil, where he learned the reality of inclusive finance. As first experience, he decided to go to Kosovo, just after the 1999 war, with Caritas Belgium. He holds a Master in Business Administration from UCLouvain and a Postgraduate in Development Cooperation from ULB (Belgium).

Patrick d’huart
With extensive experience across Africa and Asia, Patrick offers valuable insights into complex markets. At Symbiotics (2010–2024), a leading impact investment platform, he specialized in sales, business development, and originating impact, social and green bonds. As Regional Manager in Singapore, he led a team of six analysts covering East and South Asian regions, conducting risk and ESG assessments of financial institutions and their environments, including navigating macroeconomic and regulatory changes.
He helped launch REGMIFA, one of Africa’s largest microfinance funds and technical assistance facilities. Patrick began his career as a microfinance consultant in the DRC and Haiti, gaining practical experience and building lasting connections, including with David. Over two decades, he has analyzed opportunities in 39 countries, focusing on financial institutions. Patrick holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Namur and a Postgraduate diploma in International Politics from ULB.

David Dewez
David is a multilingual Senior Impact Investment professional with 24 years of experience leading debt and equity investments, as well as providing advisory services, across Latin America and Africa. He gained extensive expertise in developing, fundraising, and managing impact investment funds in emerging markets. His work has focused on financial inclusion and sustainable agriculture and food sectors, primarily during his tenure at Incofin, a leading Belgian impact fund management company. David has significant leadership experience in senior roles (C-level), where he successfully led investment teams in cross-cultural environments.
His expertise extends to corporate governance, serving on multiple boards and Investment Committees. David has a proven track record in structuring and deploying technical assistance facilities, embracing a capital + approach. He has played a key role in the development of impact and governance assessment tools. He began his career at ACCION International, where he contributed to the establishment of Sogesol, a microfinance institution in Haiti. A Belgian Bolivian national, David holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Université Laval (Canada).
